MY STORY
Locally made in Belgium and the Netherlands. Or should I say, a true piece of Burgundian work! Finally a strong desire of mine, to challenge existing non-sustainable products and processes, is fulfilled with Akiwi. I am thrilled to present to you beautiful and practical wood art (with an impact!), right from our own back garden.
THE CRAFTING PROCESS
Our current product range focuses on cutting and serving boards with lasered, printed or engraved designs.
SUSTAINABILITY
The beech wood used for the cutting boards is sourced sustainably in Europe. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and this certificate is only granted if the volume of wood taken is less than the volume of wood that is added each to the forest.

REWILDING EUROPE
10% of the price you pay is donated to an organisation that engages itself for the climate or the people and animals living here on earth. For this series of products we work together with ARK and Rewilding Europe! Both organisations aim to to create large, rewilded landscapes in the Netherlands and in at least 10 different regions across Europe.
